The background swirl is a thing that Douglas Carrier made out of paint and board, then I photographed it and messed it up in photoshop. The unmessed version is in the 'credits' icon, surrounded by green foliage. The 'MP3s' icon is Douglas' backyard seen through his truck, and the 'Words' icon is his living room window. Douglas also made the stripes on the 'email' icon and the sketches on the 'shows' and 'what' pages. The music you hear when you click on the sketch on the 'shows' page inlcudes part of "Tar," by the band called Bruce

The yellow woman in the 'gallery' icon was painted by Darius Sessions, I believe she is called the O-Face... The painting, not Darius!
